For nearly 150 years, Actors’ Trust has stood proudly alongside those who bring stories to life on stage and screen. This next chapter is about continuing that legacy and making sure more people know help is out there when they need it.”

Repositioning as Actors’ Trust

The Board of Trustees has taken the exciting decision, driven by substantial research, to reposition the Actors’ Benevolent Fund as Actors’ Trust for the benefit of the current and future generations working within the acting and stage management profession. It is underpinned by an increase to our services, which include an extension to our grants programme and mental health initiatives.

Read how research, member feedback and the Board’s vision guided our repositioning in the Chair and CEO’s letter here.

Whether you’re waiting in the wings, centre stage, or taking your final bow, we’re here for you.

Know someone who might need support? Tell them about Actors’ Trust.

In an unpredictable industry like ours, illness, injury, and mental or emotional stress can make life precarious for actors and stage managers. Thankfully Actors’ Trust is there to provide a much needed safety net for our community and I am proud to support them.”
