We are delighted to be partnering for the first time with Big Give to take part in the annual Christmas Challenge, the UK’s biggest collaborative fundraising campaign. All donations you make to Actors’ Trust through Big Give’s website during the 7-day campaign week, no matter the size, are doubled at no extra cost to you. This is thanks to our match funding champion, The Reed Foundation, who are supporting the campaign.
Funds raised through Big Give will go towards supporting our wellbeing webinar series in association with BAPAM (British Association for Performing Arts Medicine). The webinar series provides practical support to those in the industry on issues such as dealing with rejection, body-image, and managing stress, anxiety and burnout.
Working in the performing arts is highly rewarding but it can also present challenges. Things have never been tougher for actors and stage managers, balancing unpredictable work contracts, unexpected health issues, and growing financial pressures. Our industry can become isolating and have a devastating impact on both mental and physical health. A donation this Christmas can help us to continue our wellbeing series and bring much needed support and community to those facing hardship.
DOUBLE THE DONATION, DOUBLE THE DIFFERENCE
- Your donation of £10 will become £20 for someone in need.
- Your donation of £50 will become £100 for someone in need.
- Your donation of £100 will become £200 for someone in need.
Plus, if you are eligible for Gift Aid, your donation could be worth even more. This means we can help more people than ever before this Christmas.
Actors’ Trust gives people hope when life’s challenges seem overwhelming. That’s why your support is so crucial. Remember: Donations must be made on Big Give’s website between 2nd – 9th December 2025 in order to be doubled!
SPREAD THE WORD
We understand the financial pressures associated with this time of year, so if you are not able to support with a donation, there are many more ways you can help! Spread the word by sharing our appeal on social media, or tell friends, family or colleagues about Actors’ Trust so that they can access help if they need it, whenever they need it.
From offering wellness webinars and social events, to grant making and financial support – with your help, Actors’ Trust improves the lives of actors and stage managers across the UK this winter and beyond.
