Finances
We know navigating finances as an actor or in stage management can be challenging (to say the least). Insecure work patterns, being self-employed, understanding taxes, and budgeting for the future can all feel overwhelming at the best of times. And if something unexpected comes up, the impact can quickly spiral. We’re here to help and offer a range of services and information to support you.
How We Can Help
The information and resources on this page, including our benefits calculator, are free for all actors and stage management. If a health issue or life event is impacting your ability to work, and you meet our eligibility criteria, we may be able to support you with a grant. We understand that it can be difficult to know where to start when thinking about finances. Our team is here for you Monday – Friday from 9 am – 5 pm, if you’d like to talk to someone about your situation.
Financial Support Grants
If your health or a recent life event is impacting your ability to work, we may be able to provide financial support with day-to-day expenses, lessen your immediate financial concerns, and give you some breathing space to access other support you might be entitled to, so you can focus on getting yourself back on your feet.
